Every Note Counts
A classical music student from age 4 until 21, Diego then switched to jazz. He studied in Mexico City's National Conservatory of Music and studied modern harmony with Juan Millan. Diego has studied composition with Enrico Chapela and contemporary music composition with Edgar Merino. Most recently he studied with Adrian Gutierrez, taking composition courses from Baroque to Impressionism.
Diego's original music reflects the scope of a life of study, incorporating classical, jazz, ancient rhythm and modern Mexican music.
